Students who are ages 3 -5 years. Must turn 3 years by October 1st of the current school year.
Our Childcare is licensed for 40 children. Typical group size being 10.
Adult to child ratio 1:10
Students with special needs are considered and accepted on an individual basis through consultation with the Director.
Students need to be fully independent in the bathroom. We have an adult sized toilet with a stool for those who need it.
Training for staff is provided through professional workshops, conferences and in-service. Staff receives 16 credit hours yearly.
Each day includes themes, fine motor work, gross motor activities and developmental gymnastics.
EXPECTATIONS EACH WEEK
Your child will work on letters, colors, numbers, and shapes through our movement based-learning program.
At Mi Childcare, we believe in combining learning with motion. Research shows that movement-based activities accelerate and enhance the skills necessary for kindergarten and elementary school success.
Mi Childcare maintains a policy of positive reinforcement and intervention. We seek to guide children in learning positive, appropriate ways to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
Children are under constant supervision. Children are released only to persons designated on the Child Information Card.
